Small Little Walgreens Trip

Went to Walgreens to grab a few items with Register Rewards (RR). The store was out of a few things so I wasn't able to get everything on my list. Here is what I bought:



Vasoline Sheer Infusions Lotion $6.99

Hall's Cough Drops $1.00

Clearance Pencil $0.09



I used 2 $3 RR from the Chapstick deal and a $2 RR from the Dentek deal.



Out of Pocket (OOP) $0.53 (Tax was $0.45)

Received $7 RR from Vasoline and $1 RR from Hall's



Since Rimmel makeup is BOGO right now I was intending on getting 2 free items of makeup using my BOGO coupon from All You magazine but the manager absolutely refused to let me. You should be able to use both to get both items for free (Walgreens gives you one for free and the coupon gives you the other one for free). Lesson learned is to carry the coupon policy with you. This wasn't my usual store so I will just have to get the makeup at my store.

I've been wanting to blog about my couponing for awhile now, but haven't gotten around to it until now. I'm not quite sure what all will be included in this blog, but I plan on posting some of the good deals I find at various stores. I guess we will have to wait and see what I come up with. Hopefully people will learn a little more about coupons and how to maximize their savings. If you have suggestions let me know! I am off to run some errands which includes some shopping of course!
